Empties video? Instagrammmm and Life!

I was thinking of doing an empties video - have a few items that I have finished or nearly finished using so may post that in the next few days.

Instagram has basically taken over my life lol.

I had refused to go on it for ages and now that I have an account I go on it every day, after checking my emails it is the next thing I check. :s

Apart from that I just have been job hunting and unfortunately, no luck so far, but shall keep trying.
I have also been researching on what other career paths that I can take, so by taking what my interests and hobbies are, for example I enjoy photography and love animals, the fluffy kind (esp. bunnies since owning one). I am not a reptile fan but still appreciate the creepy crawlies as they interesting creatures.

In the meanwhile, shall keep bloggin and posting videos :-) enjoying doing that, keeps me busy ^.^ and working with my dad.

I am trying to do a variety of vids not just beauty related to entice all audiences so fingers crossed my channel will pick up soon!

Anyway, just wanted to keep up with posting stuff.

Recipe - Chicken Bites in Sweet Thai sauce

And really like it - check out my instagram (hibah04) for pics as err I have eaten most of it.

The only thing I did differently was to not toss the chicken in the sweet thai sauce so that each person can individually do it if they choose to or to eat it as a chicken bites and dip sort of thing.

Definite thumbs up for this recipe ^.^

Youtube and Instagram

I have actual been trying to post 2 videos per week so have been unable to post stuff on my blog(s) which is not that difficult really but have been on instagram A LOT - it is quite addictive -.-.
I am improving though, usually I am good at multitasking, so when the video is uploading i can write a post for my blog.

After a year or so of refusing to get instagram I caved and got the app. Now I post daily on it.
It is a good method of notifying your subscribers on youtube, (if you have any - I don't yet but fingers crossed soon ^.^) when a video is up or just to see cool pics that people have put up of anything and everything.

I have definitely changed my opinion on it, guess it is better to try it before disliking it.

Thought I'd post an update - put another video up on my Youtube channel HibahQ04. I am to trying to post a video once a week, so far so good! This week's video is nearly done just have to edit it and put it up! It is a bit different to my other videos.

Rimmel Scandalous black eyeliner pencil Review

So far this is the only item (see my Mini Rimmel Haul) that I have tried a few time so I thought I'd do a quick review on it.
I really like the smooth application and intense black colour and that it is waterproof.

How long does it stay on for?

Awhile, but some does come off if you have put it in your waterline otherwise it stayed in my lower lash line (where I had applied it) quite well!

I am thinking of getting another colour such as the matt purple and dark blue (with glitter) just for a bit of colour and change.

What do you guys think, have you tried this product and in which colours?

Ps. I also got  another 5-eyeshadow palette from Glam'Eyes collection Number 21 Golden Eye (middle one), for a smoky eye look. Can't wait to try these all out and mix and match as well!!

Mini Rimmel London Haul Makeup

Rimmel Mini Haul!!!

           Get the London LOOK!!! 

Ok so apart for my love of music I have started to fall in love with makeup (again), the varieties of looks you can create - fun ones, for work ones, party ones and so on, the colours just all aspects of it!

I have to admit I wasn't a make up makeup person but I guess as I have finished uni and gotten a little older I have become more interested in it.

At uni I just used to where black eye liner (pencil) and a little bit of lip gloss or lip balm and still do but nowadays its the foundation, eye pencil (or gel pot), a little bit of blush and lip gloss. 

So I invested in some more makeup, yes that is right more!!

I have some makeup that I use on daily basis like my foundation and lip stuff (video on my Youtube channel shall be up soon on that), all my old stuff is in the process of being chucked.

I was looking for some new eye shadows, mascara and eye liner pencil.

Looked at majority of the brands available here in Dubai - Rimmel, L'Oreal, Maybelline and some other brands and with the help of my mum and aunty (who better to get make up help from :-) ), we managed to narrow it down to Rimmel London!

I bought two 5 Glam' eyes HD eye shadow palettes; 41DHS each and a mascara and eye liner pencil set 53DHS (offer). The scandal eyes waterproof kohl kajal eye liner came in three colours; dark blue, black and light blue with a black mascara as a box set. I choose black as that is what I was looking for and if I continue to like it then may get the other colours separately (most likely will, want them all in every colour possible hehe).

Eye shadows in No. 22 Brixton Brown and No. 26 Greenwich. 

I really like the richness in colour of the eye pencil as I like to wear the most blackest black possible, the darker and richer in colour the better.

The second point I look out for is the application, is it easy and smooth to apply on my hand when I am testing it out? If yes then that box is ticked!

So I mainly chose these products because of their colour and application.

I did swatch the eye shadows and so far really like the colours so am planning to buy the rest in this collection, I think there is 4-6 in total?!?! Not sure checked the website out and there seems to be quite a few for me to add to my collection

The ones I got are below:

The first shadow matches the location of the first eye shadow in the image above and same with the second eye shadow.

The eye liner & mascara's curved brush which should reach the inner corners of your eyes. ( The tip of the mascara brush has a bit of excess mascara that I didn't manage to wipe off :S )

So all I am really looking forward to trying these out!

Ear piercing

Unfortunately, I have been unwell just been getting headaches so I think not sleeping well and stress and stuff.

But anyho thought I'd post on my ear piercing I got in October last year, have been wanting it for a while, from the age of 16, but finally got it done with my sis, we both got it done on the outer cartilage of the ear.

The pic above is of my right ear when I had just got it done (sis got it done on left slightly lower than mine).

I'm really happy with it, want to get another one that is a bit above the first one so it would be a double helix. But wanted to make sure I was happy with this first and to see if I still wanted it in a few months time (50/50 about it).

The process/steps:

I went to a place called Hammersmith Tattoo (http://www.hammersmithtattoo.co.uk/) in London.
I did my research first of which places do piercings, cleanliness and how much etc. We didn't need to book an appointment and luckily no one was there before us so we didnt't have to wait.

The ear piercer guy gave us an information sheet about the precautions, terms and stuff which we had to sign kinda like an agreement and paid (£30 each).

Then we went into a smaller room where the piercer put on gloves and took out sterilised disinfectant wipes (sealed packet), sealed needle and sealed sterilzed earring of our choice, my sis and I both chose a stud. 

I went first!

He wore some disposable gloves and first disinfected my ear then took some ink on a toothpick or thin blunt needle like tool and marked the place where I wanted the stud.

I checked in the mirror and was pretty happy, he changed his gloves and then took the needle (I was sitting down) and pierced my ear telling me to breath the whole time. 

It didn't really hurt, there was a popping sound as the needle went in but that was it. 

The needle was changed to the stud slowly and carefully and tightened (the ball is the stopper, that is in the front of the ear).

The same process was done on my sis, she felt more pain and actually swore lol.

Then the piercer just told us the cleaning instructions, to avoid sleeping on that side and to be careful with clothing etc (use saline solution, soak the towel paper something that isn't fibrous and apply to the piercing for 5 mins for a few weeks) and after 2 months we can change the stud.

It hurt for a few days after but not much.

 I still haven't changed the stud as I got an infection in Nov/Dec 2013 (got hair stuck and pulled forgot I had got it pierced).

I had some antibiotics for 2 weeks, used an antiseptic cream and washed it with saline solution even after the infection had gone for a few days. 

Thankfully it healed up nicely!

I bought a few studs to change the earring after 2 months when I was in London, just some simple studs from Claire's Accessories.


And that is pretty much it, I made sure I wanted it done so if you want a cartilage piercing really think about it, especially if you think you may not want to keep it in the future.

Rabbit toys update!

I just wanted to do a quick post which is an update of one of the treats/toys I got my bunny.

The Alex timothy hay and herb tunnel - when I got back from my trip to London last year in November, my bunny had completely demolished it, it was just a small slim piece about 5 inches big, I definitely recommend this product to all bunny owners or other small critters.
She has thoroughly enjoyed it so now I can give her the next item that I had also bought from the Alex range (Timothy log, see previous blog post 'Rabbit Toy/Accessories Review').
I didn't want to give her all or more than one item as she tends to neglect or not really play with them so finally now I can.

Hopefully I will give a review of that in the next couple of months.

She still has the Alex timothy ball with a few nibbles in it so I am going to put in a few treats like fruit in the holes just to get her interested in it a bit more.

If you guys have any suggestions as to which other store bought treats are good, I will try and source them here.

I am also going to try my hand at taking some videos and posting them on video (will post here as well and my other blog on tumblr) once that is done - like a vlog.

I have recorded a few videos but not entirely happy with them so shall just retake it this week edit and put them up (fingers crossed). Guess a little apprehensive/shy about it but shall see no harm in trying it out.

Not really a new years resolution but want to try and not procrastinate and just do stuff.
I have seen and follow loads of other people's blogs and videos and it seems like fun so why not I guess lol shouldn't really care what other people think.

Any ho I hope this review update helps.

I'm back

I’m back!! Actually I came back to dubai mid November 2013 but I got sooooo busy my uncle got married :-) was helping with that and then i was back at work and making my bunny happy with me (she was so so so soo angry with me  for a few days she would sniff my hand then hop away then eventually let me stroke her and apologise to her lol) so was spoiling her a bit lol, then Xmas and New year etc but all in all so far so good! London trip was amazing so nice to see my friends and go back to high street Kensington and Oxford Street etc, really good break from dubai weather and stuff, missed my dad and the bunny of course so glad to be back at home in my bed lol (hopefully u guys get that kind of feeling when u r away and them come back home).

But yeh,  I have a few posts in mind, some update kind of posts as well as some new stuff so I shall be doing that soon and shall try and do a post a week or how ever many I feel like, sorry I’m not great with posting things on a regular basis so thought I shall just at least post things whenever I can rather than sticking to a strict schedule, want to enjoy posting stuff lol

If there is any posts that u want me to do just let me know and I shall try and do it
