Totally sucking at posting things!!

I am totally sucking at posting things on a more regular basis, think of it as one of my many news year resolutions (which are successful…most of the time). 

I have been trying to update/code/fix a website (the company’s which I work at).

It is in HTML, but not sure what version. I am using godaddy.com as the hosting domain…if anyone can tell me which version of HTML that godaddy.com uses I will be sooooo grateful. I have run into a few glithces but hopefully will sort them out soon, HTML is easy to use. 

If anyone can give me some pointers as a newbie programmer in HTML then that would also be very helpful.

I am a programmer (degree in BSc Computer Science) but have used languages such as Java, Oracle, SQL and Functional Programming using Hugs.

Sooo bad that I do not know HTML (and Visual Basics - in process of learning) :S and I call myself a programmer D’oh!

But please let me know if you do have pointers or questions, will be greatly appreciated!!!!

imPRESS Nails (Review)

I have missed writing things, got to admit, so now going to try and keep it going, at least little posts every day (or every other day) or big ones every week or two, even if it is a short message.

Awhile back i.e. in 2012, I received a sample pack of these fake but not-obvious-that-they-are fake nails and thought to try them out day before yesterday. I believe I got them in a newspaper as promotion, (Dubai,U.A.E newspaper). I am not an avid fan of nail polish so didn't wear them until now.

All the instructions where provide so easy peasy!

Please note this is just a review on them and therefore my personal opinion.

I liked the colour , a simple solid colour so not too much going on with a crazy pattern, if you go to the website there are many nails to choose from, I was glad I got just the one colour as I am not an avid wearer of nail polish and certainly not fake nails. 

But I have to admit, this changed my view on fake nails. I liked that they didn’t look fake, just an ordinary coat of nail polish. 

The colour I got in the pack, I believe is called “Glisten Up” as it doesn’t say on the packaging (not good).

Simple and easy to get the nails out of the package. Included was a prep pad which you use before putting the nails on, kind of like a tissue with nail polish remover, I guess to remove any oils from the nails so the imPRESS nails stick on firmly. There are 24 nail covers in this pack - different sizes (definitely a plus).

Now on to the nails!

It was easy to apply but I found a few minor problems:

1. The tab on the nail (to expose the sticky side) sometimes was difficult to peel off, especially once you have some of the nails on.

2. Sometimes the nails didn’t fit my nails, either they where slightly too small (which I opted to wear) or slightly to big (which I also chose to wear depending on what looked better on the nail).

Apart from that, they nails stayed on until I took them off (after a few hours) and it was not that difficult to take off. 

Only downer is that I unfortunately bent a few of the nails on the corners, so I may not be able to re-use them (might do anyway if I can).

So that’s my review, I hope this helps!

I definitely recommend them if you do not want the fuss of applying nail polish, I will certainly buy a few more different colours to try.

A Second Blog of Mine

Above is a taste of one of my hand drawing from my second blog.

Just a little post about another blog of mine which features hand drawn doodles done by me and other interests (eg. Music and Pole dancing) - http://sushi-hibs.tumblr.com/
At first I was not going to split into 2 blogs but thought it would be better to have one blog mainly for my drawings and pole dancing and other fun stuff and this blog would be about everything and anything so a few serious articles too.

I have found that these blogs have given me a place to voice my opinions and my interests proudly without (little) judgement, for example, with pole dancing comes a stigma and therefore not seen as a fitness sport (which is the main reason why I took it up - to get fit and have fun at the same time) by majority of people. I struggle to get fit or to do any exercise, I try to eat healthily but tend to have my weak moments - enter Aerial Pole.

Anyway, as mentioned before I shall be writing a blog about Aerial Pole soon and how I got into etc. so shall stop here for now. I have been writing a few blogs simultaneously as I tend to jot down my ideas hence none are really complete yet but will do asap!

Also another note, my blog posts may not be related to one another hence - Random Ramblings about Anything & Everything!
